Abiie Beyond Junior Y Wooden High Chair
A wooden grow-with-me chair with tray and cushion included.
- Weight limit: Up to 250 lb as adult chair
- Age: 6 months and up (sitting independently)
Our recommendation
Choose the Tripp Trapp for the 300 lb rating, table-side tradition, and unmatched parts history. Choose the Beyond Junior Y for the better purchase: tray, cushion, and harness included, tool-free adjustment, and 250 lb capacity for less total money.
What is in the box
The Abiie includes its tray, waterproof cushion, and harness. The Stokke chair requires the Baby Set for infant use and charges separately for tray and cushion, widening the real price gap beyond the sticker gap.
Adjustment
Both adjust seat and footplate height and depth. The Abiie adjusts in seconds without tools; the Tripp Trapp uses an Allen key, slower but very secure once set.
Capacity and longevity
300 lb versus 250 lb rarely decides a family purchase, but Stokke's 50-year production run makes secondhand parts and accessories uniquely easy to source.
Choose Stokke Tripp Trapp if…
- You want the highest weight rating and longest parts record
- Your baby will eat at the table without a tray most days
- Resale value matters
Choose Abiie Beyond Junior Y Wooden High Chair if…
- You want everything included in one purchase
- You will adjust settings often between children
- You want a dishwasher-safe tray cover
