Shade ignores every command and has not moved in days
Charge or replace the battery first, even if the app last reported a healthy percentage; voltage sag under motor load kills packs that idle readings flatter. After charging, run a full open and close so the motor relearns its current draw and endpoints.
Shade stops mid travel or reverses for no reason
The motor senses obstruction torque. Inspect the hembar path for cords, latches, and window hardware, confirm the fabric rolls evenly without telescoping to one side, and on chain drivers check bead tension and clutch stiffness. Recalibrate limits after clearing any drag.
