Dog Life Jackets
Dog life jackets fitted by girth and buoyancy, not by breed guesses.
Not every dog swims well, and even strong swimmers tire, panic, and get swept by current. A life jacket buys the two things that save dogs in the water: flotation that keeps the head up without a fight, and a top handle that lets you lift the dog back aboard in one motion. Fit decides whether you get either benefit, and fit means chest girth, not breed labels or weight alone.
The ten jackets below span performance swim vests from Ruffwear and EzyDog through capable budget ripstop designs. Every pick covers its sizing method, handle placement, and chin or neck flotation honestly, because in this category the differences are measured in rescues, not features.
