Questions, answered
Can a portable swing go on a plane?
Folded models can be checked as baggage, but most families use them for car trips and family visits rather than flights.
How long do swing batteries last?
It varies widely; Ingenuity's Hybridrive claims substantially longer life than standard drives. Keep spare D or C cells for travel.
Are portable swings less safe?
No, when they meet ASTM F2088 and are used on a flat floor with the harness fastened. The trade-offs are weight limit and features, not safety.
What surface should a travel swing sit on?
A flat, hard floor, never a bed, couch, table, or car seat base.
